FAQ

What do we do at Cryohub?

At Cryohub, we combine the latest non-invasive body contouring technologies with nutrition interventions (when necessary) to help our clients achieve fat loss, cellulite reduction and maintain a youthful appearance.

How do we do this?

Our main technology, Cryoskin, is a cutting edge device from Italy that safely reduces stubborn fat by up to 35% in the area treated, allowing us to contour and shape your body to your desired look.

Our devices can also help with toning, tightening and decreasing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and cellulite.

How do I know if I am a good candidate for this treatment?

In general, most people who are healthy and a BMI of 35 or under, will qualify for any of our treatments. You can look over our list of contraindications if you have any medical issues that you want to double check.

We also encourage everyone who has medical issues to consult their doctors to confirm this treatment is safe for your particular condition.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you would not be able to participate in our Cryoslimming treatments but you will be able to do our Cryofacials, Cryotonings or Endospheres Therapy treatments.

Calculate your BMI here

If you do not meet the BMI requirements, you can request to participate in our nutrition coaching program to work towards reaching the BMI standards.

Will this help with weight loss?

No. If you decide to do our Cryoslimmings, you will see a permanent reduction in fat in the area you treated, but that will not normally translate to weight loss, as the amount of fat reduced is not enough to show a significant change in weight. We do however have nutrition coaching programs for clients who want to boost their results or lose weight while using our technology.

What is the difference between a Cryoslimming or a Cryotoning?

The biggest difference between these two treatments, is that our cryoslimmings will permanently shape and contour your body and naturally eliminate the fat cells through your lymphatic system.

Cryotonings, on the other hand, can be used to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin or cellulite. This works by increasing collagen production to the treated area causing the area to appear more lifted and toned. This treatment is cumulative and does require maintenance but results after a package of 5-10 treatments, generally last 3-4 months.

How do I get started?

First thing is to decide what treatment you are most interested in.

If you are looking to permanently contour your shape with Cryoskin, you will want to purchase this introductory.

If you are looking to treat fine lines and wrinkles on your face, the Cryofacial here will be the way to go.

Finally, if you are looking to decrease the appearance of sagging from aging, cellulite, and excessive stretching after weight loss or pregnancy, then you will want to start with our cryotoning introductory.

These are the 3 most common treatment types, but our body contouring specialists may make other recommendations once you come in for your introductory.

What if I am not sure if body contouring is right for me, how do I get a consultation?

Our introductory treatments are $50-$65 and serve as the consultation and give you the ability to try out the treatment to be sure you are comfortable with it. You can come in for just an in person consultation, however the cost is the same.

Will I see results after the first treatment?

In most cases, you will see some results after the first Cryoslimming treatment. However, the initial results are just temporary and are due to the vasoconstriction and tightening of the area. While most times this is an indicator that the area got cold enough to encourage fat cell death, It simply won’t be long lasting without recurring treatments.

All of our treatments are cumulative and initial results will not be permanent. With some treatments results will only last 3-4 months while our most popular body contouring treatment, the Cryoslimming, will start to take permanent effects after 3-5 treatments and will continue to take on a permanent contouring effect with additional treatments to the area and when combined with a good diet.

Which treatments are permanent versus temporary?

Cryoslimmings: Permanent changes after 3-5 treatments

Cryotonings: Temporary changes but cumulative effects. Results after 3-5 consecutive treatments will last 3-4 months with a proper skin care routine. Alternatively, clients can come in monthly or bi-weekly to maintain their results and continue to encourage collagen production to the area.

Cryofacials: Temporary changes but cumulative effects. Results after 4 treatments will last 3-4 months with a proper skin care routine.

Endospheres Therapy: Temporary changes but cumulative effects. Results after 12 consecutive treatments will last 6 months with a good diet. Alternatively, clients can come in monthly or bi-weekly to maintain their results.

Do I have to diet and exercise to see results?

Yes and no. Staying active is a good idea during this process, but it is not necessary to see changes to the areas you are treating. Diet on the other hand(with our Cryoslimming treatments) is a bit more important to make sure you are not spinning your wheels.

While we don’t require you to be on a specific diet program, we do encourage you to maintain a balanced approach and stay a little more vigilant of what you are consuming during this process. Sticking to real whole foods, as much as possible is ideal and maintaining your weight is essential for you to see the effects of the contouring. If you need help with this, we highly recommend joining our online nutrition coaching program to assist with your diet.

If results are permanent, why do I have to watch my diet?

Our most popular treatment, the Cryoslimming, is popular because of its permanence to the body. However, while your body is getting rid of some fat cells, other fat cells still have the ability to expand. This means that if we are getting rid of some fat cells, but your other fat cells are getting larger because you are overeating, you may not see results until you lose the weight again.

For this reason we highly recommend you stay on top of your weight and not make any dramatic changes to your dietary routine (unless it's just making it healthier) to avoid large fluctuations in your results.

I am overweight, do I need to lose weight to do this?

The short answer to this is– it depends.

You should first calculate your BMI and if your BMI is over 35, then you might see better results from getting to a 35 BMI or under. This is simply because the fat cells will break down faster and easier.  However, oftentimes we have clients that are slightly over the BMI who have done really well with our treatments because they felt it helped them stay accountable to their healthier routine and habits and made them feel confident. Additionally, while the BMI scale is appropriate for most people, it doesn’t always show the full picture for all individuals. If you think you might be a good fit, it is still worth it to come in for an introductory treatment to get an in person evaluation of the area.

If you are at or under the BMI of 35, you do not need to lose weight before starting treatments, as our treatments not only can serve as a motivation with a new weight loss journey, but it also can help you feel more confidence in your body if you have a bigger body and do not want to lose weight.
